We offer Embryo flushing, transfer, cryopreservation, custom in vitro embryo production in beef and dairy cattle and world wide embryo marketing and export.

We also provide small ruminant lap AI, embryo transfers, and LOPU/IVF embryo production. GenOvations, Inc specializes in bovine and small ruminant advanced reproduction – including embryo transfer, flushing, in vitro fertilization, and worldwide embryo marketing and sales.. We also offer donor housing for heifers, cow/calf pairs, dry, and lactating donors. Our mission is to make meaningful strides in livestock genetics through continuing to innovate advanced reproduction practices. We strive to help our clients reach new heights of productivity on the farm, success in the show ring, and profitability for their businesses. We are equipped with an EU certified mobile lab for on-farm flushing, and our facilities are qualified to export embryos to the EU, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, among many other countries. Dr. Nate Dorshorst has been performing OPU and IVF services since 2009, operates a donor facility in Lodi and two other satellite collection centers in the Midwest. In the fall of 2017, GenOvations opened its own in-house commercial IVF laboratory and today accepts collections from practitioners around the country. He remains on top of the latest research in the industry, and can provide alternative methods to flushing and oocyte recovery to optimize results for his clients. Dr. Dorshorst is an active member of the American Embryo Transfer Association, as well as the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association.

WORLD DAIRY EXPO JUDGES ANNOUNCED!
The eight individuals who will serve as official judges during World Dairy Expo 2026 have been confirmed. Nominated and selected by this year’s Dairy Cattle Show Exhibitors, these individuals will evaluate North America’s finest dairy cattle on the colored shavings, Sunday, September 27 through Friday, October 2.

We had the privilege of hosting some aspiring reproductive students from UW-River Falls on Tuesday. We were able to show them an in person OPU demonstration, allow them to practice on abattoir ovaries, and see a lab demonstration of the IVF process and embryo grading. It's great to see the next generation of students and their enthusiasm.

Congratulations Mara!!

Mara Endres from Waunakee Community High School is this month's Wisconsin Dairy Female Athlete of the Month! 🏅

Mara will be entering her senior year this fall and continues to be involved in both hockey and track & field. She is the forward for the Cap City Cougars Girls Varsity Hockey team and competes in the 100M dash, 200M dash, and triple jump for Waunakee High School Track & Field. She is also involved on her families farm, Endres Berryridge Farms LLC. Endres Berryridge was established in 1915 by Mara's great grandfather. They milk 700 registered Holstein cows and run 1,200 acres of alfalfa, grass hay, and corn that they use to feed their cows. Since Mara could remember, she has been helping complete chores and now has grown to take on a wide variety of roles on the farm, including taking care of show cattle twice a day.

When it comes to their milk, Endres Berryridge Farm ships their milk to Cheese Company, where it is turned into delicious specialty cheeses. Outside of sports and helping out on her families farm, Mara is one of the Co-Presidents of the Waunakee Whirlwinds 4-H Club, a member of FFA , and a member of the Dane County Junior Holstein Association.
