Yes, time flies as we come near semesters end. I spent all day saturday in the sun with our five community emergency response team classes doing their mock disaster final field exercise. We had 25 volunteer victims whom the students found and brought back to the field medical operations center. We also placed a mix of fire hose manikins and old cpr manikins in various campus buildingsand in a small field behind our classroom. All were found and brought in to Med Ops. We had a mix of five different classes and three shifts. Volunteers were moulaged to match their chosen injury list.
Other than that, I have been busy preparing for a summer class load. a wilderness first responder class next fall (co-teaching with my friend, and getting ready for my final EMT National Certification class as a nationally certified instructor, and finally preparing for my NOLS EMT widerness upgrade certification class I am taking this summer.
