As many of you know, we launched our Su***de Loss Support Group in April 2024 to support members of the responder community—responders, professional staff, and families—who have lost a loved one or friend to su***de, regardless of whether that person served as a responder.

Since then, more than 50 people have participated in this monthly virtual support group.

Last night, Revital Colorado, It’s A Calling Foundation, Code-4 Counseling once again partnered to host an in-person gathering for everyone involved. The event exceeded all expectations.

It was incredibly meaningful to watch people who have supported one another online finally meet face-to-face and share a meal together.

Their management and staff were exceptionally welcoming and supportive of responders. We were given a private room, and their team treated everyone with genuine respect and professionalism. If you haven’t visited yet, we highly recommend checking it out.

* 35% of responders report having experienced suicidal thoughts.

* The average non-responder faces 3–4 traumatic events in a lifetime; the average responder faces 300+ in just their career.

* Approximately 40% of responders reported that at one point in their career they experienced what they described as high-risk alcohol use.

* Divorce rates among responders continue to rise.

* 68% report having experienced symptoms of post-traumatic stress injuries.

* 70% struggle with chronic poor sleep, impacting physical and mental health.

SINCE 2022‼️

* IACF has provided culturally competent mental health services to 350 responders and family members who might not have otherwise received care.

* Delivered 2,760 counseling sessions to support these heroes and their families.

Three Responder Service Non Profits - Revital, Rocky Mountain Police & Fire Chaplains, & It's A Calling Foundation were incredibly blessed yesterday to be honored by community members who truly appreciate and respect the sacrifices made by our emergency responders and their families in keeping our communities safe.

This amazing event was the brain child of Gabrielle Marie & Rosalina Lombardi-Diecidue and their family. Together they welcomed us into their beautiful home in Cherry Hills. The people we met expressed not only their appreciation for our responders, but also a sincere desire to help improve the mental health services that support them. "Thank you" hardly does justice to show our appreciation.

Their generous support and donations strengthen our ability to continue serving those who serve others. Each of our organizations has a unique mission, but we are united thru a collaborative shared commitment: When we collaborate instead of compete, we only become stronger...and its our responders and families who truly benefit.
