What you are looking at is one of those strange ways your house welcomes you home from a trip. Like a naughty pet, it rebels to tell you not to leave again. A pole fell in my closet while I was away last week. All items went on the bed, I repaired the cup that stretched off its screws and fell down, then hung everything back up. Ugh! Most of my Wear You've Been tags stayed put, but a few of the old style tags took flight. :) Easily found their homes.

Have you ever had to do this?

I got rid of about 5 things that don't bring me joy any longer, and moved some items to other places--formalwear to an empty nest closet, took out a few things that need to be repaired with new buttons, etc., and put a few things in a storage box that goes under my bed. I hope it takes another 27 years before it breaks again.
