🧼It's Spring time ladies, and while I know you're thinking about doing Spring Cleaning on your work and living spaces, I want to challenge you to apply that to your diet!

🌼Taking the time to look at your eating habits, and remove the foods that are no longer serving you is going to take a huge weight off your chest...

By giving your diet this attention, you will notice:
❤️Less shame about what you eat
❤️Increased energy and motivation
❤️Reduced inflammation and pain
❤️Enhanced immune strength

👉Now, I don't really like the idea of just "taking away" this food from you because it may be emotionally difficult to do and that's okay!
💡Instead, let's swap it out for something that's healthier but still fulfills your desires.

For example: I LOVE crunchy foods-the crunchy sound and the mouthfeel makes it an addictive texture for me 🤤

Because of this, I love chips and especially chips like Hot Cheetos or Takis which are SUPER crunchy, but are also unfortunately really toxic. 😬

When I decided to remove Takis from my diet, I knew I couldn't live without my crunch so I simply replaced them with things like:
🥕Raw carrots (super crunchy!)
🍌Dehydrated fruit and veggie chips
🥜Salted Nuts
🌰Seed crackers

😌This is a more respectful way to make dietary changes because it acknowledges the fact that the unhealthy foods you love may still be in your diet because they emotionally soothe you, and getting rid of them may be exceptionally difficult. ❤️

🙏Now it doesn't have to be (and usually shouldn't be) extremely restrictive or tedious to keep up, but you do need to be giving your meal plan some attention.

🔑The key to an effective but non-restrictive meal plan is to make sure that you are not thinking about more than you need to-that's the value of prepping food ahead of time!🔑

🏃‍♀️The mind-body connection is something that is ignored in most sectors of fitness.
Some spaces in the fitness community even ENCOURAGE the disconnection between the brain and the body. 😬

💪This is so unfortunate because acknowledging and respecting the connection between the mind and the body will empower you to
1) Improve your fitness more permanently and
2) Supplement your mental health at the same time!

👉Take this as an example...

1️⃣By following a fitness program that respects your mental health, you will feel more capable of putting in the necessary work to achieve your goals because it's the specific amount of pressure that you, mentally, can be put under at this time.

2️⃣By completing that program you build your mental toughness because you prove to yourself that YOU CAN ACHIEVE your fitness goals, when the appropriate amount of pressure is applied!

📢The easiest way to become the person that you want to be is to start acting like her, NOW

It's very simple honestly...but it's not at all easy! 😅

✨Breaking down the habits of your higher self into bite-sized chunks is a great way to help yourself make progress without getting overwhelmed.✨

🍽️When it comes to health and fitness habits, I always recommend starting with the diet and nutrition practices before exercise.

❤️Eating habits tend to be an emotional thing for women and can take a little more effort to adjust than activity levels-acknowledging and respecting this fact is going to further propel you towards success!💪

🌸As a Women's Fitness Specialist I have observed and collected a list of patterns in the typical modern day woman's diet that often need to be corrected.
😥Habits such as neglecting to eat all day, for example, are more common in women than men, it part because of the overly self-sacrificing and maternal mentality that women are conditioned to have.
❤️This posts briefly talks about some of the main nutrition habits that most women need to improve on, including the need to eat regularly throughout the day!
