Talking to your children about traumatic events can be very stressful and sometimes it’s hard figuring out how to navigate those difficult conversations. It’s very important as a parent to check in with yourself as well as your little one and just start talking about it. Let your child know their feelings are valid and try to provide a safe space for them to tell you how they’re feeling about the situation.
