Join Pre-Physician Assistant Transfer Association at UCLA for our 𝗣𝗔𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 at 𝟭𝗣𝗠 𝗣𝗦𝗧/𝟰𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗦𝗧.
This panel will address the multifaceted importance of inclusion and diversity in both PA schools’ educational systems and the PA profession. Discussions surrounding persisting disparities, inequalities, and inequities in healthcare that under-represented minority communities face will be encouraged. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from PAs’ personal experiences and ways in which pre-PA students as future clinicians can commit to practicing socially-conscious care. Attendees will also gain tips on the different ways to showcase diversity on the CASPA application.
The special guests for this event are 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗮ñ𝗼, 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗺, and 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀.
