Daily Gratitude: Teaching

Today I am grateful to teach yoga in Costa Rica. I’ve been here for about two weeks. Since my father passed, I really felt the need to reconnect to something deeper. There was a huge hole of grief in me in everything I would do, and I fell into some habits that stopped serving me. Realizing I have been in grief, I have been doing more self work. Writing letters to my father and reading them out loud by the rivers here. Feeling a certain comfort in all the emotions that are passing through.

I am grateful to find community and to embrace those that also love self work and yoga. I feel very supported by my mentors, and felt a strong spiritual calling to teach. I asked permission and taught in beautiful Costa Rica. I am always deeply humbled to share the what has been by far the most transformative work I’ve ever experienced.
