This past Saturday, the UCLA Center for Cerebral Palsy at LuskinOIC hosted the Margaret Jones Professional Conference and Family Forum, bringing together providers, researchers, families, and community partners for a meaningful and impactful experience.
Centered around the theme of growing up with cerebral palsy, the day featured a professional conference for healthcare providers, a family forum designed to support and empower caregivers, and a vibrant resource fair with community organizations dedicated to advancing care and opportunity. Attendees heard from leading experts, including keynote speaker Mark D. Peterson of the University of Michigan, whose insights highlighted the evolving landscape of care and long-term outcomes for individuals with cerebral palsy.
Throughout the day, conversations sparked new ideas, shared experiences built stronger connections, and resources opened doors for families navigating every stage of care. Events like this reflect our ongoing commitment to accessible, high-quality care and meaningful community engagement.
Thank you to our speakers, partners, staff, and every family who joined us and made this day so special.
