I met a mother of an 8 year old who's coach recommended starting strength training.
If you want to be better at a sport or learn a sport, strength training does NOT make you a better athlete or better skilled player of that sport. Practicing and playing that sport does. This is the KSI Way. (King Sports International)
I am a physical preparation coach (A King Sports International Coach), which means I spend time educating clients on how training works.
If you want to get better at a sport you play or want to learn a sport it won't happen by lifting weights.
