As we step into 2026, embracing a new year of possibility, Step 1 reveals its power: acknowledging our struggles with addiction and the chaos it brings. This admission sparks freedom - recognizing our limitations and the grip of addiction is the first step towards reclaiming control. Yet, it's daunting to confront the actions we regret and the cycles we vow to break. 'To thine own self be true' becomes our guiding principle. Let's seize this moment, this month, today, to break free and forge a new path, one step at a time.

Caterpillar~2~Butterfly: Change and Transformation🦋

We are Stepping into Step 9: Made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

Let’s define amends. To make amends mean taking responsibility for your part in a relationship. This also means to respond appropriately to the other person’s part in the relationship. Honest amends requires spoken apology or some direct action, such as repaying money!

Let’s just start just by being kind and respectful!💜🦋

Sept is also known for National Recovery Month. We’re celebrating all those that are recovering and those who are seeking help to recover! 💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋

Stepping into Aug with Step 8: Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

Step 8 is about discernment and willingness. We must sort out how our past behavior(s) hurt or harmed others and what must we do to set the record straight. Learn to see the harm but not condemning ourselves.
Remember this is not the time to take action, just be willing!

Last night in Group with our Sistahs at Haymarket Center was very empowering after sharing about the current climate that we’re living in and how to navigate while in treatment and thereafter! The importance of trusting God to believe when times get tough they will continue to thrive and practice sobriety! Looking forward to the future, by putting the pass behind and knowing the best is yet to come. I also shared being thankful for a second chance in life and to become a productive citizen to help pave the way for someone else who’s sick and suffering!🩷🦋
