Verdugo Hospice Care Center

Verdugo Hospice Care Center opened its doors to patients in 2002, after our CEO Robina Krikorian initially noticed a need for quality hospice care in the local Armenian community in Glendale, CA. In the 17 years since then, we have grown into a diverse, multicultural network serving the areas of Los Angeles and Riverside County that provides innovative, compassionate, integrated home care and services, rehabilitation and support services.

In our commitment to the philosophy of hospice care, Verdugo strives to provide emotional and spiritual support, compassionate medical care and an enriched experience tailored to each individual patient and their family. Our Director of Patient Care Services trained with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, the groundbreaking pioneer of near-death studies and the originator of the theory of the Five Stages of Grief, and we carry her commitment to preserving the quality of life with us in everything we do.

Please take a look around our page, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions at all. We are here to provide knowledge and resources to you and your family.

“It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.” -Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
