Dr. Jovonna Moss is a successful accomplished entrepreneur in the Cosmetology Industry. She has utilized her skills and abilities beyond the salon extending them in to teaching, directing, developing and creating. Jovonna began her career as a Cosmetologist in 1998 at Pacific Beauty College. Shortly thereafter she began the Instructor Trainee Program at the very college that prepared her for the licensing exam. She completed course work at UCLA to receive her credentials as an instructor. Within seven she subsequently earned the Director Certification.

The Real Silk Hair Care Product line was developed as a result of Jovonna realizing the need for a hair care product that would deeply pe*****te the hair cuticle providing intense moisture, versus most products that simply coat or sit on the hair cuticle. After searching and trying everything on the market with no satisfaction, Jovonna met and worked closely with a team of chemist for 18 months to develop the product she felt has been missing in the hair care industry, Real Silk Hair Care System.
Instructor…Jovonna’s work as an instructor has impacted the careers of many Cosmetologist and Make-up Artist today. For more than a decade Jovonna has worked with teams of students at numerous events to help them gain the experience necessary to become professionals that are making a positive impact in the industry today. Philanthropist…Jovonna’s passion is helping those in underserved communities. She is the founder of the CHEER Organization whose mission is to promote the self-empowerment and self-esteem of young adolescent female youth in underserved communities by providing education and training in the field of cosmetology. Many projects and events have been fully funded by Jovonna, a few of them include: 2011 Christmas Makeovers-Underprivileged Families, Pepperdine University Charity for Autism, CA Probation Department “Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall Fashion Show”.
