Akar is East meets West, where beauty meets mindfulness. To us, mindfulness encompasses humility, kindness, and compassion – values that are the very essence of the Tibetan lifestyle. As such, we source our core ingredients, Sea Buckthorn and Goji Berry, from a farm that lies on the Tibetan Plateau just north of India. They are two superfoods that have long been used in traditional Tibetan medicine, boasting amazing healing properties for both health and beauty as powerful antioxidants primed to tackle signs of aging. Our farm engages in sustainable practices that are environmentally-friendly and guarantees a secure livelihood for the Tibetan farmers.
