We provide HIV testing, mental health, HIV prevention, housing and support services for people living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS in LA and Orange Counties.

APAIT’s mission is to positively impact the quality of life for vulnerable communities experiencing behavioral health challenges, housing insecurity, and at-risk for HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS Awareness Month is a time to honor the people and stories that have shaped the HIV/AIDS advocacy movement, from early activism to the ongoing resilience of those living with and affected by HIV today.

Over the decades, symbols like the Red Ribbon have carried messages of truth, visibility, and hope in the face of stigma. These symbols remind us of the generations who have fought for care, dignity, and representation, and of the continued importance of awareness and education.

World AIDS Day highlights the ongoing impact of HIV and the need for accessible, stigma-free care. Across the globe, many communities are facing shifts in funding and resources, making reliable prevention and care even harder to reach.

Education, prevention, testing, and community support are key in continuing our fight to end HIV. At APAIT, we’re committed to providing free HIV & STI testing, PrEP/PEP navigation, linkage to treatment, and affirming care.
