Beija Flor Designs is a small business dedicated to keeping the environment clean and eliminating plastic waste by way of a recyclable bag alternative. Our bags promote not only environmental but personal health as well and is comprised of recycled and environmentally neutral materials. The name Beija Flor is derived from Portuguese meaning hummingbird, and also literally "kiss the flower". So like the hummingbird, we express our love and care for the environment. L.A. is taking steps towards getting rid of the plastic bags and moving towards an eco friendly environment. Plastic counter bags are on their way out!
