Everyone is asking the WRONG question.
The question isn’t why doctors are becoming influencers. It’s why influencers think they’re doctors. 👀🩺

What are your sources? What are your credentials? How did you learn this information? We should be asking this every single time. 👏

One of the main reasons as to why misinformation and disinformation is rampant online is because far too many people trust influencers over people with actual medical degrees.

Doctors should be online. Because right now the people filling that space have no credentials or sources, just a discount code for useless supplements. Just sayin!! 💸

Medication reviews online work exactly the same way. Keep that in mind before you spiral. If your meds aren’t working, that’s a conversation for your doctor, mot the Reddit comments section. 👏💻

That voice in your head saying “I don’t want to be a burden”? Tell it to take a seat… Text your friends. Call your therapist. Ask your partner to take the baby so you can shower, or cry, or both. Just ask for help!! Reciprocity is the foundation of every strong relationship, and your village makes you stronger. 🫂

The Hamnet dance breaks videos are some of the best examples of nervous system regulation I’ve seen on the internet this year. 👏

Hamnet was a really heavy movie and I love that the cast took care of themselves by not bypassing the grief or pretending some scenes didn’t hurt. Just… exhaling and dancing it out. We need more of this!!

If you haven’t already heard, The SAVE Act is designed to make it harder for married women to vote. We can’t let this pass 👀

Requiring a passport or birth certificate to register to vote would lock out millions of Americans, disproportionately younger voters, voters of color, and married women who changed their last names because their married names don’t match their documents.

Let’s make sure this doesn’t pass together. Here’s what to do right now:
🧑‍💻Go to 5calls.org or senate.gov to find your senators’ contact info.
📞Call their offices and say: “I’m a constituent and I urge Senator [name] to vote NO on the SAVE Act.”
👯‍♀️ Share this with everyone you know and urge them to call their representatives as well!

And listen, if they pass this anyway? Many married women, especially those with kids are the same people that have file seventeen forms to get their kid into summer camp. We will figure it out. We will show up. We have no other choice!

But let’s try to make sure it doesn’t come to that first 👏
