Oh noes.... Where did the summer go? I know - it's still summer here in L.A. but how about some early morning hooping? I am going to be at the hidden North Hollywood Park (Westpark) tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. but starting next week I am going to hoop on the other side of the 170 Freeway on Tuesdays.

Fingers crossed that I'll be hooping in Westpark in the morning at 8:30. It might rain! Check here first, I suppose?

What a fantastic time we had at Hooperbowl III. There were close to 200 people there and the dj's were awesome! Randy J., djFido and Dougal had us shaking it all day until after dark.

If you missed it - all the more reason to come hoop with me Tuesday morning in Westpark/Valley Village at 8:30 a.m.

I recently signed up for classes through hoopcity.ca and Safire was kind enough to help my tech-challenged brain. She is a sweetheart and an amazing hooper, as you can see in this video!

Update: No more Thursday morning hooping in Eagle Rock. Eugenie has been so kind and gracious, opening her house to us every Thursday for the past (almost) 2 years but we're calling it quits to move on to other things. I really appreciate her generosity and welcoming spirit and I'll miss seeing all of you on Thursday mornings.

Great California weather is back, at least for now.

Are your clothes feeling a little tighter this week? I think the holiday treats are catching up with us! Come out and hoop with me on Tuesday at 8:30 in Westpark/Valley Village or at Eugenie's in Eagle Rock on Thursday (also 8:30 a.m.) and lets start thinking about summer!

Watch this cool guy do fun juggling tricks with mini hoops. This is a great video to show your boys so they can see that hooping isn't just for girls!

Whoooo - it is so cold in SoCal. Get some inspiration from Ali of FeatherHoops. She makes some really cool hoops and even rocks it in a motorcycle helmet!
