AMRIT is an ancient sanskrit word from sacred texts that refers to the nectar of immortality. AMRIT's lead designer, Sat Hari, spent much of her formative years in India where she was exposed to jewelry design and the holistic healing arts. Since her days touring with a world famous rock band as their holistic nurse, she has become well known in Hollywood for her unique alternative approach to health. From her time in India, she has always enjoyed the art of jewelry making and in 2010 she began designing jewelry for private clients. She specializes in jewelry that has meaning derived from ancient mystical traditions and is suited to the wearers specific needs. Giving to others is important to Sat Hari, and she often gives to organizations and people in need, including being a first responder herself after the devastating earthquake in Haiti (with J/P HRO). These values are at the core of AMRIT Jewelry, whether sponsoring the arts for children, donating a portion of AMRIT's COR bracelets proceeds to the Elephant Conservation, or supporting other good works being done. Both Sat Hari and AMRIT Jewelry make sure that customers do good for the world when they buy AMRIT.
