We can't take everyone with us on this journey. Have a great time with them while they are there, and send them off with love when it's time to part ways. Don't get mad. Don't get even. Just live YOUR life honest and full.

There are many ways to get your yoga time in. Today a group of cousins decided to learn how to stand activated and present led by .

Standing in who you are is truly a form of meditation. Stand feet together (if you're knock kneed, you can separate feet allowing just enough space for your knees to touch comfortably) Preas toe mounds into the floor while lifting your toes. Activate through your inner ankles through your groin and up your inner thighs. Then place your hand on your waist with fingers on the top of your buttocks. Push buttocks down and activate your lower abdomen. Your arches should be raised while this process takes place. 💜💛💜💛💜

Hey Happy Hippies 👋🏾

We wanted to take a moment to help you get to know one of our Happy Hippy Me co-hosts, Pili Bailey, aka .

Repost from using - 👋🏾 Hello there, it has been a while since I introduced myself here on IG. So I wanted to take a moment and give you a little bit of background on me. 🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️ .

My name is Pili Bailey, I am a certified yoga instructor with a Masters degree in chemistry, as well as training in Aromatherapy and Yoga Therapy. 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🤠🤠 .

Like you, I wear many hats. A few of the roles in my life are as a wife, a mother, a chemist, a yoga teacher, an aromatherapist, and many more. . 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Yoga has had a profound impact on my life, helping me to move gracefully between all the roles I play while cultivating mindfulness to be present in each moment. The lessons I learned on my mat have propelled me into a deeper self awareness and helped me to show up more authentically as my true self in the world. Yoga has created a greater sense of ease in my body and my mind. Yoga has given me the tools to cope with depression, childhood trauma, and the stress of daily life. . 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫 I have experienced the power of yoga to heal the body, the mind, and the emotions. This is why I am so passionate about working with women, to help them to find the joy of being in their bodies again.
Yoga has helped me to embrace the ever changing state of my body with love and acceptance. I want to spread that message to every woman I know. If we only have this one body, and this one life, I believe that yoga can show us how to stay present in each moment and receive the ups and the downs of life with equanimity and gratitude. .
💜💜💜🙏🏾
My mission and goal is to help women to live healthier, happier, more stress-free lives by equipping them with the tools of yoga and aromatherapy. .

To say Wendi has had a unique journey is an understatement. Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2005, Wendi did her best to cope with the illness that would impact her life for good. Shortly after, Wendi was informed that she was one of the rare individuals who had both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. as the diseases attacked her large intestine and other portions of the digestive tract like her re**um. Wendi managed her illness with Remicade, but in 2014, she underwent an ileostomy procedure due to the formation of a fissure. The goal was to have the ileostomy reversed at the end of a year, but Wendi’s doctors informed her she had developed stage 4 lymphoma cancer in her bladder. After 5 rounds of chemo, the cancer is now in remission and Wendi was able to rejoin what she called “the land of the living!”
Wendi believes there are good and bad aspects to having IBD. Patients are all effected differently, but no one wants to be a burden. Many suffer in silence and the best gift to give is to provide a listening ear. The bright side is that IBD is generally not life threatening and there have been significant breakthroughs in IBD research, medication, and procedures. Patients have more options now than ever before.
At the end of the day, Wendi recommends inclusive compassion for IBD patients. Both for themselves and for other patients. She knows that being kind to herself and to others as she relearns her new normal is the most important thing.
Thank you Wendi!
