I never thought I’d walk down the aisle eczema free…

but I did 🥹 AND without any medications or treatments!

Six months before my wedding, I made a promise to myself that I’d do everything I could to heal my skin. No treatments. No prescriptions. Just figuring out my triggers and learning how to support my body.

With the help of at Bergen Dermatology and Dr. Fitzhugh at Allergy Partners of Chapel Hill, we discovered I was allergic to BPA, something I was surrounded by every day without realizing it. That one discovery changed everything!!!

I always tell my community, if you want to change your eczema, you have to do something DIFFERENT to get a different result.

This is what happens when you stay curious, listen to your body, and work with your doctors instead of doing it alone (and just trying things cause you saw it on other platforms 😅).

Happy healing mindset, family. SHE (me) DID IT AGAIN!

As someone who was diagnosed with asthma over 20 years ago, I had no idea this was the case. Luckily my asthma is well controlled now, but I wish I knew and had this information growing up with it.

Here’s why eczema isn’t always just about the skin!

If you live with eczema, you may have noticed other health issues pop up too, like allergies, asthma, or chronic sinus problems. This isn’t random.

They’re connected through something called Type 2 (T2) inflammation—an immune response that goes beyond the skin and can show up in different parts of the body.

That’s why so many of us find ourselves managing not just one, but two or three conditions at the same time.

Wow… my heart is beyond FULL after experiencing Eczema Expo 2025 🥹

For now, I’m just going to sit with all of these beautiful memories and re-fill my cup after pouring everything I had 🖤

In the meantime, giving the biggest love and appreciation to for constantly upleveling and creating a space for US, my parents and family for joining me, my fiancé for all of his constant support, and my girls who have been riding alongside me for years now!! .skin.nutritionist .harris and so much more!
