Fall cleaning might be the opposite of spring cleaning, but the goal is the same: creating a little more space to breathe. A gentle reset before cozy season makes it easier to unwind, nest, and actually enjoy the slower days ahead. 🍂

A few simple ways to get started:

1. Rotate your wardrobe.
Do a quick clothes sort and toss anything with holes or stains. Donate the pieces that just don’t feel like you anymore. Then bring your sweaters, jackets, and cold-weather favorites front and center so getting dressed feels easy and warm.

2. Reset your pantry.
I always cook and bake more when the weather cools down, so a freshly organized, well-stocked pantry feels like such a gift. Clear out old items, wipe everything down, and restock the staples that make cozy nights at home effortless.

3. Refresh your creative supplies.
If you’re a craft or handiwork person, take a few minutes to sort through your materials. Clearing out what you don’t use makes it so much easier to grab what you need and settle into a creative flow.

A little fall cleaning goes a long way toward making home feel even cozier.

Last Friday our team spent the morning volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, gloves on and hearts open. Along with nearly 100 volunteers, we sorted onions into bags to be packed and sent to families across LA County. It felt so good to channel our teamwork and attention-to-detail into something that directly supports people experiencing food insecurity right now, and together our group sorted 28,620 lbs of food!

The LA Food Bank serves more than 800 partner agencies and distributes millions of meals each year. It’s an incredible reminder of what’s possible when people come together with intention and care.

If you’d like to give back, you can donate or sign up to volunteer at lafoodbank.org.

Last night, I went to a lovely event hosted by .co and ended up chatting with several designers (, and to name a few ⭐️) about the often-overlooked value of organizing after a renovation.

One designer said something that really stuck with me:

“It was the hardest check my client had to write, but the one that gave her the most lasting peace.”

I love that. ✨

If you’re planning a renovation or new build, try to budget for organizing from the start so you can follow through at the end. A beautiful new home is wonderful, but if your things don’t have a home, it’s hard to truly enjoy the space you’ve created.

Organizing is like icing a cake or tying the bow on a gift. It may seem like the final flourish, but it’s what makes everything feel complete. 🎀

If you’re feeling stuck, like things aren’t going your way and you aren’t sure how to change them, try decluttering one space in your home. Start anywhere. Start where you feel pulled. It works like magic sometimes. Not only is the act of making your home feel more calm and peaceful helpful to your overall wellbeing, but the practice of facing something that seems overwhelming is really powerful. Letting go of things that are not serving you anymore - clothes that don’t fit, dishware you got from your parents, paperwork from an old job - is incredibly liberating. You’re making peace with your past and opening up space for new, better things to enter.

If this seems like too much to do alone, let us help! Sometimes having someone in your corner is just what you need to let go of the old and make space for the new. ✨❤️

Spooky Season done right 🎃🍁. We recently decked out one of our favorite houses with some cute (and slightly creepy 🕷️) decorations! Heirloom pumpkins from and , spiders from and .

But just as important as decorating, we left our client with empty bins labeled “Halloween” so they can pack everything up easily.

And don’t worry, soon after Halloween comes down, we’ll be back to decorate for Christmas! 🎄

Organizing product doesn’t have to be a “one size fits all” kind of thing. Get creative and find solutions that work perfectly for you. And if you find that something isn’t working right, tweak it, living an organized life is a journey not a destination. ✌🏻

Something I think about a lot is how to make the best use of my time right now. How to be in the present, and how to savor every moment as much as humanly possible. Now that I have a son (who just turned 2!) I am hyper-aware of how quickly time can pass, and I feel really motivated to enjoy my life with a small child as much as possible.

For me to do this personally, a little preparation goes a long way. Being able to minimize stress and feel grounded are vital ingredients in enjoying the present moment. The difference between an exhausting morning where I’m grumpy and a calm morning where I feel relaxed lives in organization. The heart of Space Camp is creating systems that allow us to relax and enjoy our lives.

For me, that starts the moment I wake up. From having an organized bathroom where I can swiftly wash my face and brush my teeth, to systems in my son’s room where I can change his diaper, help him get dressed, and pack what he needs for school. To the kitchen where breakfast prep is effortless so I can enjoy my time with him, to my entryway where my keys and purse are always in the same place so I can get out the door on time (again, minimizing stress).

I’m naturally a creative, kind of chaotic person (surprising for an organizer, I know), but I also really believe in organization so I can spend as much of my time as possible living life and as little time as possible looking for my stuff and trying to manage essential daily tasks. It works for me, and I’ve seen it work for hundreds of clients too, streamlining their lives at home and grounding them so they can be present with their families.

Thoughts about this? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to chat! ❤️

This dreamy dressing table is proof that storage can be just as beautiful as it is functional. We gave ’s makeup collection a home where everything is visible, accessible, and still feels special.

Good design is what you see. Good organizing is what you don’t.

The labeled drawer that saves you time.
The pantry bins that keep chaos at bay.
The closet flow that makes getting dressed easy.
The hooks and baskets that quietly stop mornings from unraveling.

The best systems are invisible — but you feel them every single day. ✨

At Space Camp, we create homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. Because beauty is what draws you in — but ease is what lets you exhale.

At Space Camp, we approach organizing like design—with intention, creativity, and a deep respect for how a space makes you feel. ✨

When we worked on this garage years ago, our client was overwhelmed. The space felt stressful, chaotic and underutilized. So instead of just thinking about shelves and bins, we started with one key question: How do you want this space to feel?

Calm.

That became our guiding principle.

From there, every design decision became easier. We chose clean white shelving to brighten the room and give a sense of openness. We selected neutral-toned bins to create a soothing visual rhythm. The layout was designed to flow intuitively, with clear zones for storage and easy access.

The end result wasn’t just functional—it was peaceful. It became a space that invited them in, rather than pushing them away. Because when organizing starts with feeling, the function falls beautifully into place.
