Happy 45th birthday Tony! I don't know what the afterlife is like, but if it's anything like what we Catholics have been taught, I want you to meet someone. Our good friend Charlie left us all a few days ago. He was riddled with stage 4 cancer when you disappeared. He valiantly fought 5 types of cancer during the past almost 12 years. He never complained. You can look for him by a river, for he will certainly be fly fishing. Charlie can share with you all of the stories about Dad and I, Steve and Ash, and your most handsome nephew and beautiful niece, that you sadly have missed these past years. He can transfer to you all of the hugs, kisses, and love that we have shared. Charlie was a fighter. He knew about you Tony, and how the depths of your pain must have been too great for you to bear. Enjoy your time together, and be sure to share with him some of your great adventures too! Your love of the national parks, scuba, rock climbing, etc. should blend well with Charlie's interests, to make a wonderful meet-up. I trust the 2 of you will watch over us all until we all meet one day. Enjoy your birthday! Love, Mom
