This could be inspired by physical movement (dancing), music, connecting with others, the sunshine after a storm… They are moments of delight, as essayist Ross Gay would say.

Thank you for joining us on Monday!
We used the passion derived from the full moon to express our feelings with full acceptance. Through the process of RAIN, we were able to find spaciousness around our strongest emotions. Our balanced breathing guided us into sound and then out into the night. It was a pleasure to practice with you, to hear about your experience, and to be in community 🩷

Use February’s full moon in Leo to highlight passions, emotions, and big reactions. We’ll take time to simmer in the awareness of the dramatic side of ourselves. Then, we’ll soften into a state of nourishment as we remember the cool and soothing nature of the moon, using its energy to settle into deep rest and rejuvenation.

Thank you and to everyone who joined us yesterday for our foray into new ways of thinking! We had a range of responses to the sound bath, from feeling embraced by a warm blanket to feeling sensations running through the body. Sound has the capacity to shift us, physically, emotionally, psychologically and beyond. It was a treat to spend a Sunday morning creating space for this process!

We are leading a sound bath experience at the Autry tomorrow! It is at 10am, which is a great time of day to practice because it sets you up for a full day of mindfulness. The energy of an LA Sunday morning is also quiet and relaxing, which we get to lean into. This sound bath is for anyone of any level of meditation. We have had many new practitioners come in and feel immediately supported by and focused on the sound. It is a great way to enjoy meditation if you are curious about it. Museums are great and supportive places to explore new ideas!
