This major policy shift has real implications for patients, researchers, and the h**p & cannabis industry. The EO will reclassify cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III.

This acknowledges accepted medical use and could:
• Make cannabis research significantly easier
• Reduce tax penalties for cannabis businesses
• Improve access to banking
• Potential Medicare pilot covering h**p-derived CBD

Important: This does not legalize recreational ma*****na at the federal level. Final changes still require DEA rulemaking.

Speaker Johnson is exploring reversing the language in the recent bill (opening the government) to exclude the ability for specific Senators to sue the government. If he is willing to open that door, he should explore that option for the ban that negatively impacts the desires of 70% of Americans.

Call your Rep ASAP as Speaker Johnson has desires to fix the phone record issues quickly.

Ask the representative to remove any language BANNING H**P from the package to re-open the government.

As part of the government shut down negotiations, ALL h**p products with ANY amount THC along with other cannabinoids except CBD will be made illegal across America if Mitch McConnell gets his way.

This includes states where h**p is legal, like Minnesota and would go into effect as soon as the president signs it!!!
