3 superfoods to add to that salad you’ll eat for more energy, empathy and expansiveness this week:
1. Pumpkin Seeds. Nutritional powerhouses with a a variety of nutrients. An excellent source of magnesium, aka the chill-out mineral, since it plays a role in regulating our stress response system.
2. Black Pepper. I grind on salads, sautées, soups. Has multiple benefits including improving digestion, providing relief in respiratory problems, is an antioxidant, antibacterial, etc.
3. Sunflower Seeds. Rich in magnesium, vitamin E and B1, truly a healthy heart seed!
