The body is intrinsically wise.
The brave will tune in and listen.

Listening to my body, advocating for myself, and facing scary possibilities saved my life. There is a lot I can say about the medical and insurance industry that made this take longer & be more difficult than it needed to. I’ll save that for another day.

Modern medicine saved my life. My yoga practice, & the strength that I’ve built from it physically & mentally supported my journey and played a huge part in keeping me positive & saving my life. I am sure it helped me stay strong, wise, & trusting. People I love stepped up in ways I could have never imagined or expected.🙏

No one usually expects a c*ncer diagnosis. My entire reality was shattered. I was devastated. I’ve gone through unimaginable things in the past year. I’m still here. I am forever changed. Many things are different & more challenging now. I’m an expert on things I never wanted to know. I can tell you we don’t always get the answers we yearn for. I’m proof no feeling is forever. No pain stays the same. I’m wiser AF. I’m angry. I’m grieving. Yet still, I’m so lucky. I’m grateful. I’m alive. And I love this fu**ed up life.

Nature+deep breathing+any type of movement has always been healing for me. Having the ability to take in the sights, smells, & sights around us is not lost on me as being a gift. It can instantly ground us & bring us into the present moment (the only one that matters), & these simple acts have proven health benefits.

1️⃣💞 This precious being of light & love has cracked me wide open in so many ways. It has been such a beautiful journey with this sweet soul. I am forever grateful, forever learning, forever loving. We are infinite. We live on in one another. I’m so happy to be.here.now with my little one. Whatever curve balls life throws our way, I stay present in gratitude.
