I saw one of my best friends from college a couple months ago and told her I was running a bit a couple times a week. She said "Isn't it too late to start running at 50?" This made me laugh. I had to inform her I run for 20 minutes a couple times a week and my pace is probably as slow as many people's walking pace. I've never been much into running but with wanting a little more cardio in my life quickly this seems to give me a nice energy boost.
Remember it doesn't have to be all or nothing (meaning 5 miles or 40 minutes etc). Pick what works for you, how do you feel during the workout, after it, and even if your friends and others have different opinions, awesome, you do you, I'll do me.
