What if you were trapped and you didn't even know it?
Trapped in a way of thinking...trapped in trauma...trapped in an identity...trapped in boxes not even of your own making!
Saying things like "oh that's just the way it is" or "that's just how I am" or "_____ will never change"
Do you know crippling that is to your spirit? How detrimental that is to your life? How toxic that is to your body?
You were made to change. You were made to not only survive but to thrive. You were made to live and to die to do it again and again.
Get out!!! Break the cycles. Release the chains.

Maya Angelou is someone I deeply admire and we have very similar stories. We were even born in the same city. I honor her courage, her wisdom, and her story today. She inspired me to GET OUT!
