Ken Van Fossen Psychotherapy, LMFT #90889 Helping individuals and couples overcome unhealthy, restrictive patterns to achieve the lives they seek.

I firmly believe living a life of authenticity and balance will lead one to the life they seek. I engage my clients through active listening, conversation and safe exploration within an affirmative space that is free from judgment. My practice combines both traditional methods to provide insight and awareness to the root of individual struggles, coupled with a modern approach to guide clear integration of techniques for lasting change. I have vast experience working with individuals and couples through an affirmative lens to overcome today’s contemporary challenges. To accomplish this, I’ve devised a holistic approach and practice several techniques to craft what will be a comprehensive methodology to suit your distinct needs. I ensure a protected and compassionate space in which to collaboratively invoke the drive required to attain established goals.

Great read on the role of trauma and mental illness in comic books. So often we focus on the negative affects of trauma and don't look at the potential for strength and personal growth that it also creates.

Robbie Thompson, Tana Ford and more gathered at C2E2 to discuss the importance of creators addressing how mental health is presented in comics.

Monday morning. The perfect time to think about what you can do this week to be an upstander, that is, a person who stands up to bullying and injustice! Change the culture in your school or workplace, and let's work together for a bully-free world! change.org/addupstander
