Friends and students, I want to share with you news about Dr. Glenn Perry's upcoming AstroPsychology course, scheduled to begin later this month. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Perry's expertise as both a professional Astrologer and as a Therapist in private practice. Oh, and as a teacher/professor as well!! He is a highly respected expert in the Astrological community, with decades worth of teaching this important body of work. Attached, please see a brochure of our school. It provides a condensed version of the information that is on the AAP website. Be sure to scroll down to see both pages (outside and inside) and increase the size as necessary to read.
You have the option of doing the program on your own or as part of a cohort that meets for weekly online classes. A new cohort for the Diploma Program begins each September with a new course approximately every 8 weeks (six courses per/year). However, you can purchase any of the 12 courses and begin to do assignments immediately and work at your own pace.
If you also wish to participate in online classes, you are automatically enrolled for classes whenever that course is next scheduled. That way, you can start your course work now, purchase the required texts and do the reading assignments, videos, quizzes, and the like. This will give you a jump start when the live classes begin in September. That’s the best way to do the program, in my opinion.
Even though the material we cover in classes will be review (depending on how far you get between now and September), review is necessary to consolidate your learning. Mastery of astrology entails memorization of sign-planet keywords and rules of interpretation. So, the more you're exposed to the material, the better. This is why the material is covered in multiple ways throughout the program.
Our primary focus for each class is chart synthesis, while also addressing questions pertinent to course assignments for that week. Live classes are from 7:30 - 9:30pm ET on Tuesdays, but you can view archived recordings of live classes if your schedule or time zone precludes you from attending them.
Each 6-week course is taught once per/year. See schedule of courses for approximate dates. If for any reason you’re unable to attend a live class (or choose to do the program on your own), each class is recorded and archived so that you can view it anytime as often as you wish.
There are reading and audio assignments for each class in addition to a pre-recorded video-lecture and brief quiz. If students choose to do all assignments, total expenditure of time is 5 to 8 hours per/week. In some cases, supplementary material is provided if students wish to increase their mastery of a particular topic.
Although courses are designed to be completed in six weeks, students are allowed twelve weeks per/course to complete the work. Accordingly, you may complete the program slower or faster as your time allows.
