First off, I’m going to give it to you straight. You likely need two things:
🔹more rest
🔹more nourishment
Postpartum is an intense phase and can last awhile. If you think about, you’re actually postpartum for the rest of your life. 🤔
Ok, rest. What do I mean?
And yes, I know it’s HARD to get enough sleep during the first year or so postpartum, especially when breastfeeding, BUT healing is active and requires energy.
When we rest, our energy can be used to heal. So give yourself permission to rest. It’s vital! Do less. Nap more. Snuggle more. Delegate chores like laundry, food prep, grocery shopping, and emptying the dishwasher.
What do I mean by nourishment?
The basics. Vitamins and minerals.
Drink a daily nourishing infusion.
Not sure what that is? Check out
Eat more protein in the form of soups, stews, roasts and organ meats. When our body has the basics it can begin to rebuild.
You got this mama! 🔷🔹
