Colorectal cancer awareness isn’t just about screenings; it’s also about daily choices that support gut and colon health. 🍎 Fiber is a simple, powerful tool that helps keep your digestive system moving, supports regular bowel movements, and may play a role in reducing colorectal risk. Adding more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and seeds to your meals can make a meaningful difference over time.

At FU Cancer, we’re here to make these conversations less scary and more empowering through practical tips, shared experiences, and real support. Have you made any fiber-friendly changes to your diet? Share your go-to foods or questions in the comments. This is general education, not medical advice, so always talk with your care team about what’s right for you.

Walking into an oncology appointment can feel like stepping into the unknown. Even when you’ve done this before, the emotions can still hit you like a wave with fear, anger, hope, numbness, and everything in between. There’s no “right” way to feel when you’re facing cancer, and there’s definitely no rulebook for how to regulate those emotions in the moment.

Maybe your heart races in the waiting room. Maybe you hold it together during the appointment and then fall apart in the car. Maybe you feel guilty for being scared, or frustrated that people keep telling you to “stay positive” when your world feels anything but predictable.

At F-U Cancer, we see you. We know how unpredictable this journey is, how one test result, one scan, or one conversation with your care team can flip your emotions upside down. You are not “too much.” You are not “overreacting.” You are human.

Our community exists to help you:
- Navigate the emotional rollercoaster of treatment days
- Feel heard and validated, not judged or dismissed
- Find real talk, not toxic positivity
- Connect with others who *get it* because they’re living it too

If you’re heading into an oncology appointment, recovering from one, or still replaying one in your head, you don’t have to go through it alone. F-U Cancer is here to walk beside you, hold space for your anger and your hope, and remind you that your feelings are valid—every single one of them.

💬 Drop a comment if you’ve ever felt emotionally overwhelmed before, during, or after an appointment.
🖤 Follow F-U Cancer for honest support, shared stories, and a community that says what you’re really thinking.

After cancer treatment, healing isn’t just physical, it’s emotional and mental, too. Part of emotional healing after cancer is learning that it’s okay to say “no,” change your mind, or step back from people and situations that drain your energy. Setting boundaries is not selfish; it’s a powerful form of cancer support you can offer yourself.

Healthy boundaries can look like limiting visitors, turning off your phone at a certain time, asking loved ones to avoid certain topics, or saying, “I’m not available for that right now.” These small choices protect your nervous system, support your mental health as a cancer survivor, and create space for rest, joy, and genuine connection.

You deserve relationships and routines that honor where you are in your recovery, today and every day. 💗

💬🌿 How are you setting boundaries for your well-being after cancer treatment? Share in the comments to help others feel seen and supported.

“Cancer remission” doesn’t always mean the journey is over, but it *does* mean the cancer has shrunk or can’t be detected, and that’s a powerful victory. Remission is not always the same as a cure, yet every scan, every clear result, and every stable day is worth celebrating. To everyone in remission and every caregiver standing beside them: your strength, fear, and hope are all valid. Follow our page and share this post to help others understand what cancer remission really means.

Bringing Dr. Kelsey Lau on as Chief Medical Officer at F-U Cancer is one of those moments that makes you pause and realize just how far a mission can go when the right people step into it.

Kelsey is the kind of leader who leads with both rigor and heart. Her depth of experience in clinical trials and research, combined with her work as a highly respected and decorated clinician in cancer rehabilitation, brings an extraordinary level of credibility to what we’re building. But what matters just as much is how she shows up, with compassion, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people living with and beyond cancer.

As we grow, having someone who truly understands the clinical landscape and believes deeply in reimagining care is invaluable. Kelsey doesn’t just support the mission, she strengthens it, sharpens it, and helps ensure we’re building something that truly serves patients, caregivers, and clinicians alike.

We are incredibly grateful to build alongside her. This next chapter in 2026 feels powerful, purposeful, and full of possibility.
