So I didn’t start taking photos of the bump until 18 weeks, because I couldn’t believe I was ACTUALLY pregnant with a healthy baby and I was afraid to get my hopes up. It was such a crazy yet exciting time and I am so glad she’s finally here and has been everything we’ve ever wanted and more for our family.

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted…we had our rainbow baby. It’s been a long road and it’s crazy how fast it seems to have just gone by, the days of struggle and what’s ifs are over and here we are with two beautiful daughters and a few more waiting to join the family in the future. What a journey.

The long awaited day is finally here. So excited to finally transfer an embryo and grow our little family. It’s becoming so real now. I’ve been up since 1am, not able to sleep - too excited and thinking about how far we’ve come and that the day is finally here. Pray for our little 🌈 baby to finally make its debut ❤️ My husband unfortunately isn’t able to be here next to me, but he and I got to drive here together for this special moment. Can’t wait to see what the future holds. 🙏🏼

Day 1 of progesterone shots. Wasn’t too bad, pretty sure I can start my own injection service for administering medications for people. You guys - we are getting so much closer to our transfer date - I’m so excited. It’s so surreal that it’s finally almost here 😬🥰 one shot down of like 40+.

The news has finally arrived. We got our embryo results and .... we got two more embryos. My husband is officially a girl dad. Gonna have to make him a shirt. Confirming a transfer schedule with the doctor next week 🎀🎀🎀. Here we go baby girl.

Round two consent forms have been signed. Looking at a May retrieval and if all goes well a June/July transfer. It was crazy talking to the nurse about elective surgeries at sutter hospitals being cancelled due to covid-19 so we will see how that effects our cycle planning and if anything changes by then. Praying for some more good embryos this time around 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Can’t wait time grow our little family.

A few things I’ve made recently for some clients. Art and calligraphy is therapy for me and it’s helping pay for my IVF so it’s really a win win. I’m going to work on a website and update my Etsy soon for anyone who needs signage or calligraphy for an event send me a DM.

Ok so where do I start. We got a call that we have one good embryo out of the eight we had biopsied. Which further solidified that we went the right route by choosing to go through IVF to ensure this genetic disorder is no longer being passed on. We had paid for 2 cycles and we have decided to keep our one little embryo frozen for future use and try one more cycle to see if we can have more children in the future since this will be our one and only try to grow our family and would want to know that we tried for as many as we could. We start the next cycle in March. Pray for us, we would love one more ❤️ the implantation process isn’t guaranteed to take there’s a 60-70% chance we get pregnant and then a 50-70% chance it results in a birth so having a second embryo would be amazing. 🙏🏼

Day 5 and 6 have come and gone and I am so please to tell you all we have 8 embryos that that been biopsied and will ship to the lab tomorrow, on my birthday. Could not be happier that day 6 gave us more embryos to be hopeful for. We got word on day 5 there were 3 biopsied and then the next day were told that 5 more were done. Best news to get before the birthday weekend. I had a dream last night we had a few good ones to choose from, hoping this is a sign 🙏🏼
Now we wait 2-3 weeks to get the genetic testing results back and plan the next steps in this journey. Patience is key for me these next few weeks.
