Did you know the word "strolling" has German origins (from "strollen/strolchen)?
Basically, it means "vagabonding in a leisurely way" (we're talking German from 300 years ago, mind you). Super random, I know... but cute 😇. Now every time I go on one of my beloved walks, I think of them as an adventure...

I have probably mentioned this before: I loooooove a patterned bottom. It's so easy to pair just a simple monochromatic top with this skirt. Light pink, deep red, dark brown, even turquoise, and of course black or white. so many options to play with. I bought this one in Spring, but now that it's Fall I just focus on the darker and warmer color spectrum when putting my outfit together 💖🍂.

Do you own/wear a patterned pair of pants or skirt?

People ask me about how to pose a lot and honestly, one of the best, easiest things to remember for a fun, interesting photo is to give your body angles.

Slightly tilt your head, lift your shoulder, bend your arms, knees, or whatever else is possible 😂voilà, works like a charm😘😌!

Take me baaaaack! My mind feeds itself with the joy I felt in Italy (so much so that I kinda had to keep it to myself for a little while).

Fun fact: I'm the world's worst bike rider. I really am seriously not good at it 😂. Don't ask me why, maybe it's a balance thing or fear or both, maybe I just don't do it often enough. I do tend to avoid it. Let me walk any day 😅. I did it for my hubby on the Via Appia at 100 degrees though. Only came out of it with a couple of minor scrapes and bruises🤦‍♀. But yes, it really does look like that in Italy and maybe it's only fair what with the really bloody history of that particular road 😬

Positano - by the way - was of course gorgeous ... but also VERY crowded. Highly recommend visiting outside of the peak season if possible. Fun to read the book "One Italian Summer" while there as it is set in Positano. I mainly remember lots of lemons, in all different colors and sizes, a pretty small beach, and LOTS of people 😂.

The last pic (the one my chiropractor will hopefully never see, talk about posture failure😬) shows me in front of Mount Vesuvius. It looks timid enough but a little over 2000 years ago it killed more than 1000 people and is to this day thought of as one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world.

Ciao Roma! I’m quite simply in love with you🥰!!! First long overdue photo dump (you know how I am, living in the moment and all). I’ve been in awe of this beautiful city these last couple of days. We’ve done sooo many things and still it feels as if we only scratched the surface!

1. Picturesque house and corners everywhere😍!
2. I look kinda tired but that view just does not get old!
3. At the Capitoline Museums…
4. Me and Constantine, Constantine and me…😂
5. Staring at the Forum Romanum😍
6. I’m musing 😉
7. No words 🤗
8. Me being like every other good old tourist😂! This is how it is a lot in Rome though! Lots of beautiful ceilings and you’re afraid to miss something🤪.
9. It’s just so crazy charming here😍!
10. We got the best sunsets. Not a drop of rain but also temps between 33 (91) and 38 (101) degrees Celsius (Fahrenheit). Thankfully there are free fresh water fountains everywhere across the city.
