My most effective techniques for giving clients relief came from this book. I was also fortunate to have been in a weekend class taught by Dr. Chaitow.

The fifth edition of this well-loved manual for understanding and using Muscle Energy Techniques (METs) presents clear guidelines for their applications, resting on the newest scientific research and embedded in the framework of whole-person health care. It provides a comprehensive, evidence-based how-to guide for applying MET in the treatment of some forms of musculoskeletal dysfunction, to alleviate pain, and support functional movement.

Packed with colour illustrations and complemented by more than 50 instructional videos featuring Leon Chaitow demonstrating the techniques described, Muscle Energy Techniques 5e guides the reader through both theory and practice, with an emphasis on evidence-informed clinical reasoning and application.

This fifth edition reconvenes the international team of expert contributors originally selected by Leon Chaitow to present the role of METs in a range of clinical settings and scenarios.

These include the use of METs for treating a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, prevention and management of trauma and injuries in athletes, and their successful incorporation into physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathic, massage therapy, and rehabilitation environments.

If you’ve ever come for a massage but decided you didn’t want to tackle the stairs again, my practice is now on the first floor and these are the only ones in the building you’ll need to transverse now!

Hello everyone! A couple of changes coming your way. Due to the abrupt sale of the building and huge increase in rent, all sessions are going up by $5 effective October 1, 2025. A bigger change is that I’m moving my massage practice to the first floor in Suite 100B. A great new space with a lot less step to walk!

In addition to the 45 million strong UK study finding fewer heart attacks and strokes after COVID vaccination, Sweden has just dropped a whopper of its own:

• 8.8 million adults.
• Compared 1, 2, and 3 vaccine doses.
• Looked at 9 types of major heart events (heart attack, stroke, heart failure, blood clots, inflammation, etc.).

And the result?

Third dose of mRNA vaccine was associated with a 25–31% reduction in risk of major adverse cardiovascular events.

Side effects like myocarditis? Extremely rare. And *brace yourselves* far more common and severe after actual COVID infection.

Let me say that again:

The third dose reduced the risk of having a serious heart event.
And this wasn’t a back-of-the-napkin job. It was peer-reviewed, population-based, and adjusted for comorbidities, age, s*x, vaccine type, you name it.

Meanwhile…
Over in conspiracy corner, Darren's cousin Kev is still yelling “MYOCARDITIS!” into a mason jar of colloidal silver while a Cooker live-streams a moonwater cleanse from her EMF-shielded sauna.

But here’s the thing:

Science builds.
One massive study confirms a trend, then another repeats it in a different population, with different methods... and gets the same result.

That’s how real science works.

So yes, your local anti-vaxxer may be curled in a ball today, mumbling about Big Pharma and clutching a tallow candle for warmth.

Please check in on them.

They’re watching the rickety scaffold of their entire belief system collapse under the weight of actual evidence.

And for the rest of us?

It’s simple:

âś… COVID vaccine = lower heart risk.
❌ Telegram group = lower brain function.

Link to the in the comments. Not a Rumble video with scary music or a blurry meme. The actual findings, warts and all.

Snarky out. 🥒
