HAPPY ANNIVERSARIES TO ME 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I told myself last year that moving forward I’d be better about celebrating my wins and milestones. So here I am, celebrating 10 years in the counseling field & 7 years in business. I became an LPCA Jan. 15, 2016 and started my private practice Feb. 18, 2018.

I am in such awe and gratitude honestly. I’ve made it 10 years in a career that most only stay in for 5. And what a journey it’s been. The key, I can tell you, is staying grounded, spiritually protected, resourced & continuously engaging in the work of personal growth. 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒔𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒆! This first 7 year cycle of business was all about embracing the learning curve and learning from the inevitable mistakes along the way. Cause ya girl did not attended business school, but we made it baby! This next 7 year cycle will be about all that plus building lasting growth and thriving.

I’ve met some incredible people on this journey. Thank you to everyone that has ever supported me, sent referrals & resources, networked, and shown me love. And thank you to all the clients that have trusted me and allowed me to help them navigate some of their darkest moments and greatest accomplishments in life along the way. I am so truly grateful. After all, the only way we come through the ups and the downs is in community; wading & walking through all the twists and turns of life together.

Cheers to another decade of doing what I love & helping the best ways I know how.

I, FINALLY, present to you episode one of Stories of the Matriarch 🙌🏽 Aaaaahhhhh! I’m so excited and it’s long over due.

Full disclosure, editing is not where I thrive. It took me forever to figure out how to do what needed to be done (to the best of my current ability), but we’re here and the stories will finally be heard.

We all know it; the declaration “I’m going to therapy.” That’s great and all, but tell me how therapy is working for you? Tell me what you’re learning about yourself, what you’re healing.
