The RURAL (Risk Underlying Rural Areas Longitudinal) Cohort Study aims to address critical gaps in our knowledge of heart and lung disorders in rural counties in the southeastern United States.

The RURAL Heart and Lung Study is helping people in rural areas learn more about health. Right now, we do not have enough people ages 25 to 44 in our study from Boyle and Garrard Counties.
