With over 18 years of experience working with parents prenatally and in their postpartum journeys, Bonnie Knows Breast! Specializing in lactation and nutrition consulting that includes in-home, in-office, and telehealth services for prenatal and professional lactation education, parent classes on breastfeeding basics, starting solids with your baby, pumping and more, I am here to help you in your pregnancy and beyond. I am committed to giving personalized, affirming care to each family and individual that I work with! Supporting families during this critical and emotional time in their lives is such important work that I do not take lightly. I promise to provide support in a compassionate, non-judgmental way to meet you where you are and help you meet your chest/breastfeeding or nutrition goals. Class: Starting Solids With Baby

Sunday, November 30th at 12:00pm
at the office of Bonnie Knows Breast

It's the last Starting Solids class of 2025! Join us!

After this course, you’ll feel better prepared to:
-Recognize signs of developmental readiness
-Understand Baby-led weaning VS. purees
-Get your Questions answered about food allergies
-Choking hazards and food safety
-What to offer and how to serve it

We recommend your baby be 5-6 months old before attending the class as solid foods are not recommended until at least 6 months of age.

Babies and partners are always welcome and encouraged to join in with the class. The class fee is $65/family for up to 2 people.

UpBeat Louisville is partnering with Bonnie Knows Breast to offer a one-time-visit, free preview of our Music Together® BABIES program. This Babies Pop-Up Class is specially designed for families with pre-crawling, infants under nine months old.

It's never too early to start making music! Your little one is a natural-born music-maker, ready to start learning music at birth. Maybe you've noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe them. Babies are naturally musical--and you don't have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music.

As with most things in life, YOU are your baby's first and best teacher. In this music class for infants, your teacher will show you how you can Support Your Baby's Music Development through simple and fun activities. You'll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music.

Come ready to sing and dance with your sweet babe in a non-judgemental atmosphere! No prior music experience necessary.

Seasons change! We can help you transition into the season of parenthood!

We meet every Wednesday from 10am-11:30am at the Bonnie Knows Breast office!

Get your baby weighed, stock up on feeding supplies, and experience support through community. Afterglow is co-facilitated by an amazing group of women who’ve “been there” and know what it’s like to navigate the roses and thorns of being a new parent.

We are inclusive and supportive of all genders and family structures and we welcome you into our circle of support! Join us to weave connections, normalize the hard, and nourish your heart.

Your first visit is always free! After that, the fee is $10 but we never want cost to be a barrier. If funds are tight, you can request a scholarship - no questions asked!

Bonnie Knows Breast and The Business of Breastfeeding is calling for Women & BIPOC makers/vendors local to the Louisville, KY area for two upcoming events!

The first event opportunity is the Holiday Open House at Bonnie Knows Breast on Sunday, November 30th from 2pm - 5pm. The event attendees will be mainly local new parents.

The second opportunity is the Sip & Shop at the conclusion of the Business of Breastfeeding Lactation Summit at the University of Louisville Conference Center Founders Union on Tuesday, February 3rd from 6pm - 8pm. The event attendees will be mainly birth and lactation industry professionals from the region and beyond.

We ask that vendor applicants be local to the Kentuckiana area and identify as women and/or as BIPOC.

Goods sold must be hand made. We will not be accepting any MLMs/ direct selling/network marketing vendors (such as Amway, doTerra, Scentsy, etc.)

Packaged food is allowed at the November 30th Holiday Open House only, and only with a health department license to sell.

If you're interested please fill out our vendor interest form and a Bonnie Knows Breast team member will get back to you within about 1 week.

Think you have to “do it all” as the Feeding Parent?

As the primary feeding parent, it can sometimes feel like you’re the one who has to do it all. You might need support, but not know exactly what to ask for from your partner or loved ones.

Feeding the baby, whether chestfeeding, breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle feeding, is just one part of the postpartum journey. There are so many ways for partners and loved ones to nurture, support, and lighten the load for the birthing parent that don’t involve feeding at all.
