TODAY!!!

The time has come! It’s our final plant push and pop-up of this year. Like every year, it’s time for me and all the plants to go dormant. While we’ll still offer plant consultations and potting services, we’ll be taking a break from selling plants at markets due to the cold temps.

Come join us on Saturday, 11/26 from 12-5pm Mill No. 5 for A Little Bazaar’s Small Business Saturday Marketplace. Get an early start on your holiday shopping by purchasing something locally for your loved ones.

We’ll be rerouting 20% of all plant sales to Life Connections We’ve been trying to provide them with some additional support for sometime now. Fingers crossed we can help them out with some monetary assistance this time around. Life Connection Center is a community soup kitchen and homeless outreach center for adults in the heart of Lowell. They support our community by provided our most vulnerable persons with food, shelter, and outreach programs. Please consider donating your time to helping them this and every year.

As always, it’s been a such a pleasure to serve alongside you as we support and uplift our communities during this crazy time in life!

I hope to see you all there for our final market of the year!

In addition, our favorite DJ and dear friend, DJ FlavYa will be spinning amazing tunes at the event. You definitely won’t want to miss this!

We’re finally pulling up our boot straps, putting on our hardiest gardening gloves and getting pricked by cacti 🌵

Cacti are incredibly low maintenance and sun-loving plants. While we still have A LOT to learn about the ins and outs of cacti care, we’re excited to add these spiky ones into our plant mix.

There are 2 types of cactus: desert and forest one. Desert cacti are most likely to survive harsh conditions as they have spines to support them. Forest cacti like Blue Candle or Christmas cactus are spineless, which makes them more suitable to be grown indoors.

☀️ Outdoor cacti: 4-6 hours of daily sunlight
☀️Indoor cacti: 10-14 hrs of daily bright light
Place cacti in southeast facing windows is best.

💧 Depending on the size of your cactus, the type of pot it’s in, daily temperature, and the daily lighting it’s getting, deep waterings should happen every week to every few weeks. Cacti are quite tolerant of water neglect. Wait til the soil is completely dry and then some to give them a good drink.

Cacti store water inside themselves. They can survive up to 1-2 years without water. So, to forgetful plant parents, you and cacti are a match made in the driest parts of heaven!

Prices: $8-25
📧 DM for more info to purchase!

🌵 Care Tips:
👉 Rotate your cactus to avoid leaning or etiolation.
👉 Terra cotta pots with drainage create great homes for cacti.
👉 Always underwater to avoid root rot and pests.
