Just clarifying what I shared a few days ago—because it may have felt a little confusing.

Ideally, as an educator, we like to see lower temps in the follicular phase (often in the 97s) with CF present due to Estrogen being dominant.

After a clear shift in temperature confirming ovulation retrospectively we should notice CF changing and drying up with temps rising into the 98s—reflecting strong progesterone.

Things to consider:
how you’re temping, your personal baseline, and your symptoms. This isn’t one-size-fits-all.

If you want to better understand and learn how to interpret your own cycles, I’d love to support you.

We can start with a free discovery call and go from there 🤍

If you woke up thinking, “Wait… is this perimenopause?”

Before you spiral down a Google rabbit hole—pause and listen to this episode.

Because here’s the truth:
your symptoms are real… but the label might not be.

In this episode, I’m breaking down what perimenopause actually is (and what it isn’t), so you can stop guessing and start understanding your body.

And if you’re ready to go deeper—
my Peri 101 Workshop is where we start connecting all the dots.

Knowledge isn’t just power…
it’s peace of mind.

Comment PERI and I'll send over the episode.

Hot and bothered today… but not for the reason you think.

This isn’t perimenopause — this is progesterone doing her thing.

From a biological lens, progesterone naturally warms the body (hello, post-ovulation temp rise if you track BBT). So if you’re feeling extra toasty, it may not be Peri but rather you’re in your luteal phase.

Instead of fighting it, try working with your body:

• Warm, grounding foods + drinks
• Skip the iced coffee for now
• Cozy layers (yes, socks on at all times)
• Baths, rest, slowing down
• Castor oil packs for gentle support
• Prioritize pleasure (solo or partnered 🤍)
• And maybe adding in a pit detox for a little extra attention to odor—hormones can shift things

This warmth isn’t random — it supports circulation and helps prevent stagnation in the pelvis, which can mean fewer cramps and clots when your period arrives.

Your body knows what it’s doing. The more you listen, the better it responds.

✨ Stay tuned… next podcast episode: “Is it really perimenopause?” dropping soon 🎙️

Still sitting with the love from a review I just received 🤍

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. These spaces remind me how powerful it is when we slow down, learn together, and actually feel supported in our health.

Your body isn’t meant to be in “go mode” all the time.

When your nervous system is constantly in a stressed, rushed state, your body reads that as unsafe—and it will always prioritize survival over things like ovulation.

That’s when we start to see it show up as:
irregular cycles, missed periods, painful PMS, or dysregulation in other systems.

Slowing down isn’t lazy… it’s supportive.
It tells your body: we’re safe here.

And safety is where the magic happens. ✨

Even small moments—eating slower, stepping outside, pausing before reacting—can shift your nervous system and support your cycle more than you think.

Save this for the days you feel like you’re rushing through everything 🤍

Bring on more Granny moments throughout your day!

P.S. those are real sounds from my backyard - no need for any trending audio.

I want to say this very lovingly, if you can identify with any of these symptoms and have been told by a health care provider that they are "normal," you need to get that red flag guy and blow the whistle.🚩

You deserve to feel heard and supported—not dismissed.

What have you been brushed off for and then finally get the actual diagnosis? I’ll share mine in the comments 👇

If you’re ready to actually address the root of those red flags, book a discovery call to see if we’re a good fit.
