Hey guys —

After a big appointment on Monday and a few unexpected bumps, I’m so thankful to say that Azik is doing really well. We’re officially starting the process of getting him back into school for second semester, which still feels unreal.

We’ve moved into our home and are slowly settling in after letting go of so much. This season is about rebuilding and creating a calm, healthy foundation for our family.

2025 was overwhelming and emotional, but I know without a doubt that God placed us exactly where we needed to be. Thank you to everyone who checked in, prayed, helped, gave, loved on us, and walked with us through it all — none of it went unnoticed.

As we enter a new year, my heart is both heavy and full. Heavy for the family who lost their loved one, and full of gratitude for the incredible gift that allows us to still have ours.

Hey guys, we know we’ve been a little quiet lately — life has been full. But the good news is that Azik is doing really well.

Tomorrow we leave for Dallas for some Christmas activities planned for him through the hospital and transplant team. We’re so thankful — this year’s been financially tough, but we’re trusting God like always.

We’ll be sharing lots of pictures along the way, so make sure you’re watching and following — we can’t wait to bring you along for the fun. 🎄✨

It’s been a wild but beautiful season for the Wilsons! Azik is doing AMAZING — gaining weight, strong new heart, and his levels are looking good. We even took our first flight to Dallas and he handled it like a champ. 🩵✈️

💙 Urgent Prayer & Help Request 💙

We’re needing some extra prayers right now. An unexpected emergency came up, and we’re currently stranded in Dallas after losing our car. We have an important appointment today and need to find a rental as soon as possible to get there and make it home safely.

We fell behind on our car note but did everything we could to stay current until now. We’re trying to see if we can either get the car back or cover a rental for the next few days while we figure out our next steps.

💙 Azik’s Heart Journey Update 💙

Off to Dallas today as we head to Azik’s first biweekly appointment tomorrow— praying everything comes back better than last time and for safe travels and healing as we go. 🙏

🦽💛 We were so blessed by an angel who donated the full amount for Azik’s travel wheelchair — we got it last week, and he loves it!

We still need support with donations and meals as we prepare to move back home, restart therapy, and search for a new place. It’s a lot, but God has our back, and He keeps sending the right people to help us.

🌟 Azik’s Checkup Update! 🌟
We just got back from Azik’s appointment and he’s doing so well a littlehiccup but nothing throwing him off track— I couldn’t be more proud of him and so thakful to God! 🐾💛 Every milestone feels like such a victory.

On a different note, life threw us a curveball: our landlord has unexpectedly decided to sell our home 😑. Needing a large 3-4 bedroom home available in November sometime. We weren’t hoping to move until the new year but now needs to be as soon as possible — our current landlord has unexpectedly decided to sell the home 😑.

Ideally looking in the Cooper district, and would much prefer to rent directly from a personal landlord (we’ve heard too many rough stories about big rental companies).

Money is tight right now until I’m back to work, but we’re responsible tenants and can provide references.

Trying to remain positive when life has been really hard these past few months. Well who am I kidding it’s been rough all year.

💙 Azik Update:

🐾💙 Help us get Honey certified as Azik’s therapy + support pup!

As many of you know, Honey has been by Azik’s side through every step of his heart journey literaly before he got his heart we got her— offering comfort, calm, and so much joy during hospital stays, appointments, and long recovery days. We’ve seen how deeply she helps regulate and encourage him, especially with his autism and sensory needs.

Now, we’re hoping to take the next step by getting Honey into official therapy and service training so she can continue supporting Azik safely and effectively — including during travel and hospital visits.

This certification process and training program come with costs that insurance doesn’t cover, so we’re praying and working to raise the funds needed to get her started soon.

Post-Transplant Recovery Update 💙 Month Two

What a month it’s been! Between Parvovirus, a few hospital stays, and multiple trips to the emergency department, this chapter has definitely kept us on our toes. The recovery will be a week or longer but through it all, Azik continues to amaze us with his strength, resilience, and unstoppable spirit. All glory to God 🙌🏽

If we can stay symptom-free until the end of this month, we’ll finally get to move home — something we’re praying for daily. 💛 This journey is far from over, but we’re taking it one step, and one miracle, at a time.

Being away from home for so long hasn’t been easy — especially balancing family visits and long stretches apart — but we’re holding tight to faith that the three-month mark will open the door to our next chapter.

This month, we’re launching a new “Pick a Date, Pay that Amount” calendar fundraiser, praying to black it out to help cover Azik’s wheelchair and travel needs before the month’s end. The last one had only a few days taken but it helped us get home — we’re so thankful for everyone who showed up for us! 🙏🏽

We’re also working with insurance to hopefully get flights covered for the many trips back and forth once we return home.

Thank you for every prayer, message, and act of love — it continues to carry us through. God is so faithful. 💙

Azik Update:

Yesterday was a day of recovery; for both Azik and myself. But surprisingly to us, the team decided even though parvovirus can last a few weeks, they believe Azik has been treated enough to safely finish recovering at home — and we couldn’t be more thankful. 💙

He’s been eating so well and has been in such a great mood today! In true Wolverine fashion — one IV treatment and one blood transfusion, and he’s already bouncing back. 💪

We did find out he’s anemic, so we’ll be focusing on the trending of his blood count and hemoglobin to help restore his energy. That was a big part of why he’d been so drained.

Praying that over the next week (or few weeks), he continues to feel strong and that all his labs start trending in the right direction. Grateful for every answered prayer and for everyone who continues to lift us up. 💜🙏

Azik Update 💙✨

Last night, Azik had both an IVIG infusion and a blood transfusion — and thankfully, everything went pretty well. 💉 He’s feeling a bit crummy and tired today and hasn’t eaten much, but the doctor said he’s looking good overall. 🙏 He’s getting some naps in today, so hopefully both of us can catch up on some rest — and maybe he’ll sleep a little better tonight. 😴

We’re now waiting on some bloodwork results to see what our next steps will be. Please keep those prayers coming — keep us uplifted, and yes… keep the coffee (and food!) donations coming too ☕🍴.

This mama is running on little to no sleep — he was up most of the night getting checked, and of course, I was right there with him. I just can’t rest knowing someone else is taking care of my baby if I can be by his side. 💜
