1st OFFICIAL B***y Day of the YEAR 🍑 swipe to see what moves we’re focusing on!

It’s been a slow but intentional beginning of the year.
It’s taken me almost the entire month to get it together LOL but I went in the order of importance:

1️⃣ MINDSET: getting my sleep in order! Locking back in with my therapist and prioritizing my schedule/time better

2️⃣ NUTRITION: I realized that trying to make a shake for breakfast was messing up my flow - so I switched the plan. Instead of shakes, I meal prepped for easy grab and go that was warm! It’s cold as hell and I’m tired of shakes rn. Meeting myself where I’m at

3️⃣ MOVEMENT (Last but not least): I’ve been prioritizing my rehab, got back with my physical therapist after she came back from her maternity leave 🙌🏽and started a training program that focuses on the peach 🍑 and puts very little strain on my upper body

The mistake a lot of women make is starting with the gym first - and I get that, it FEELS like you’re making progress when you start with the burn, the sweat, the motion. But I’ve been in this industry long enough to know the *correct* order. & this year I did exactly that. So all that to say… I’M BACK!!! 💪🏽

Struggle with time and not prioritizing yourself.

Work stress is high, so you rely on protein bars to get you through the busy days.

Or on the other side, you tend to overeat.

This fitness thing? It feels like a chore. You dread it…

& sis, I get it. That literally used to be me!

Going to the gym to sweat and be in pain on purpose?! LOL

I remember starting at a few gyms but nothing really stuck until I had a reason to keep going.

It wasn’t until I hated the way I looked and felt that anything really changed.

It was around this time - about a decade ago.

I hired my first trainer & it changed my life.

I learned how to:
walk up the stairs without dying 😝
go into the weight room and know exactly what to do
Get my first push up + pull up
Eat for the body I wanted to build

But in the beginning it was hard. So hard to break the habits I’d build of not doing it. Not going to the gym. Not exercising, not eating healthy.

& I’m here to remind you that your time will come.
The day you decide = enough is enough!
You’ll take that next step and never look back. I believe in you 💗💗💗
