Here are 3 of my go-to grounding practices you can use anytime, anywhere:

Tension Release Reset
✅ Inhale and lift your shoulders to your ears
✅ Hold for 2 seconds
✅ Exhale slowly and drop them completely
✅ Repeat 3x

This tells your body: it’s safe to soften.

Shake It Out
🌀 Shake your hands, arms, and legs for 10-20 seconds
🌀 Let your body release the static it’s holding

This is somatic stress release—without needing a therapist or a yoga mat.

1-Minute Transition Breath
🌬️ Inhale through your nose for 4 counts
⏸️ Hold for 2 counts
😮‍💨 Exhale slowly through your mouth for 6 counts
🔁 Repeat for 5 full breaths (1 minute)
💡 Let each exhale signal to your body: we’re safe, we can reset

Ever notice how the crash always hits right when your to-do list still has 12 tabs open?

I used to think more coffee was the answer… but all it did was spike my anxiety and steal my sleep.�

Here’s what’s actually helped me (and my clients) feel human again by 3PM - without hitting the espresso button again:
1️⃣ Sun before screen - 10 mins of sunlight in the morning helps reset your cortisol rhythm. Think of it as your brain’s natural “on” switch.�
2️⃣ Protein before caffeine - tiny shift, major payoff. Just 15g of protein first thing helps lower your cortisol levels, setting you up for more even energy all day. Think a serving of yogurt with some berries or a protein shake. �
3️⃣ Walk after lunch - this was the biggest game-changer for my energy. Just a 10 minute walk balanced blood sugar meaning - no more afternoon crash.
