Still on a high from last week's PDAC! It was an honor for our girls to meet the strong passionate women representing them under the Gold Dome. It was a great day to exchange ideas & for girls to learn how laws made in Atlanta effect their lives.

Strong women. May we raise them, may we be them.
Special thanks to Charter Communications for their sponsorship.

Pace Macon's seniors are getting ready to step into their next chapter- college, careers, and independent adulthood. As they prepare for this exciting transition, we’re asking our community to help us support them with the items they want and need most post‑graduation. 💛✨

From dorm & apartment essentials to self‑care items, gift cards, and meaningful keepsakes, your donation can make a huge difference in helping a young woman start her journey with confidence and joy.

🌟 Want to sponsor a senior by providing some of these items?
We would love to connect with you!

We had an amazing time connecting with students at Bibb County School District's Bernd Elementary's Career Day! Early conversations about emotional wellness, coping skills, and support can make all the difference in a child's path forward.
We’re grateful for every opportunity to help create safe, empowering spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.
Here’s to planting seeds of resilience early and watching confidence bloom. 🌱✨

Due to the possibility for severe weather and our concern for the safety of our staff and students, the Bibb County School District will be asynchronous on Monday, March 16, 2026. All athletics events for Monday have been canceled. This decision has been made following weather briefings with the US National Weather Service Peachtree City Georgia and Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency.

We expect all students to engage in continued learning, no matter their location. Students in grades K-5 should read for 1 hour, spend 1 hour on Amira and 1 hour on Waggle. Students in grades 6-12 should log into Canvas and follow the instructions of their teachers in Canvas. District resources have been uploaded to ParentSquare.

BCSD employees will work remotely; some Operations and School Team members will be asked to follow crisis and severe weather protocols to ensure all facilities are safe and secure. All employees should follow directions from supervisors for the day’s work, and please communicate with your supervisor about any issues that may prevent you from working (power outage, etc.).

We encourage you to prepare for possible severe weather by following Macon+Bibb County on social media and downloading the MBCAlert App: https://www.maconbibb.us/ema-launches-mbcalert-app/
