Hey squad......today started really early for me. I had a nose bleed last night at bedtime and dad and mom thought it was just because I was extremely fussy and I cried so hard I busted a blood vessel. Well that was not the case.....when Mom got up around 530 she came to check on me and I was having another nose bleed. Something didn't sit well with Mom so she called the oncologist team and they said I needed to get in the rocket ship and head over. So around 7 we jumped into the mini ship( moms car) and headed to Hopkins.It's Monday so my normal team was off today but the fill in team was GREAT!! They are running some extra tests and I have to go back by 8am tomorrow in mommoms rocket ship for another transfusion. The team told Mom ive been in something called Thrombocytopenia for too long now and they said Im in " bone marrow failure". They ordered lots of tests to be done to see if my bone marrow has stopped making platelets or if my body is destroying them before they become mature. Either way Mom and Dad are STRESSED OUT! Sissy was so stressed she had something called a " panic attack" I was told i have to be extra careful not to bump my head or fall and no rough playing so that's no fun. I am super tired and even a little play time wears me out. If you could keep me in your prayers I would surely appreciate it...Love you all, Thoren

Hey squad, checking in after an eventful day. Today was my monthly Hopkins check up so MomMom fired up her rocket ship and away we went. I got my monthly antibiotics today and had some lab work done. My thyroid has decided to become super grumpy but my liver numbers improved slightly. They said my platelets are still a little low and they want me to meet with a new nutritionist because growing boys need more calories! Some exciting news is that I get my ankle braces soon and I am officially a bus rider this year😍. I am enjoying walking while holding onto sissy's hands and I love to climb ( just have to learn to climb back down). I am babbling a lot more since starting a new supplement regimen and mom said when I do start to talk Im not going to stop. She thinks I'll talk in my sleep. Kindergarten is going ok so far and I'm excited to be back with my friends and my new teacher. I also stopped and got my first big boy salon hair cut today from Miss Anna, she did a great job with me and MomMom said I only fussed once so I got to get a toy from the store. Anyway it's almost time for bath and snuggle time with Mom but I wanted to hop on and update you all. Love, Thoren

Hey Super Squad.....Miss Martha Mauk Kral is doing a quarter auction to help me and the girls have the adventure of our lives. Isn't that great??? Mom has been talking about all the great prizes there will be to bid on and I get to attend 😍. I love meeting my squad in person and a good auction really gets the blood pumping in my Superhero veins. T'was the night before my 5th birthday and Mom told me a story about wishes. She said when we are young we wish with our whole hearts and that's why those wishes come true. I'm learning a lot about wishes here lately and we have some really exciting news to share with all of you!
I made a wish and it was GRANTED!!!! My wish is to go to the most magical places on earth ( Disney, Universal, cuz Im a wizard in training, Legoland and I may get to meet Peppa❤️). Mom said she has some other surprises up her sleeve but toddlers can only remember so much at a time and big sissys are nosey! So she will be posting some more but we won't be able to see those posts as to not spoil the adventure. I sure am excited to have this once in a lifetime experience.

Hey squad sorry havent been posting as much its been a busy summer. Dad has been trying to get me moving more and playing. I now mimic and make noises with my tongue out dad thinks its funny and does it back so then I do it more. Think he is ready for me to talk. Also they are trying to put me threw walking boot camp. Dad was walking backwards holding my hands and making me walk from my room to living room till I grabbed onto the chair and climbed up. I still tried to throw a fit and sit in the floor but he wouldn't let me. Mom and Dad had officially got dates for my make a wish trip in Florida so im excited. Dad told them it has to be after hurricane season that he doesn't want my trip ruined so we are going from December 1st to the 9th. I get to go to Give Kids the World Village im so excited. We'll im goin to take a nap Dad has had me playing since breakfast. Will try to keep you all posted more bye for now.

Hey squad happy Sunday! Over the past few months Ive had many adventures and some ups and downs to share with you. I got student of the month at school and I graduated pre-k 😍. My doctors thought I may have a second form of cancer so the last few months have been lots of new tests and waiting for results. Thank god I can say I am cancer free! I stopped treatment on May 31st and I get to officially ring the bell next month. My platelets are still not behaving and its been determined that not only is my liver angry but so is my spleen so I get to go see my friends on the GI team to see how to calm them down. On a happier note it's summer vacay and my sissy just got her license so she has promised me lots of rides in the rocket ship and some beach adventures. I will miss all my friends over the summer and Mom is looking for a program to put me in during the day so I don't lose my skills. I can side step like a pro now and I am starting to eat lots of textures by mouth. I love crunchy and sour ( sour patch kids are my favorite) and I enjoy eating applesauce out of the pouches when someone helps me eat them. I have been helping Mom in the garden and she said we will redo the backyard this summer so I can spend lots of time outdoors. The mosquitoes love me for some reason so Mom is taking care of them too and maybe my sand box can finally come out of the shed cuz I love to dig and play with my toes in the sand. I plan on updating you all on my adventures over the summer break and I can't wait to hear all about yours too! Love for now, Thoren
