This inspiring evening brought community members together around a shared purpose: supporting individuals and families in Greater Lafayette who are experiencing homelessness. The gala raises critical funds and awareness for LTHC’s housing-focused programs—helping people move from crisis to stable, permanent housing and advancing the organization’s mission to end homelessness in our community.

Meet Cynthia Lopez, Recruiter II based in Sheboygan, WI! 🌟

Cynthia has been part of Homes for Independent Living (HIL), a MyPath Company, since July 2021, supporting the Sheboygan and Manitowoc regions in recruiting Caregivers and other essential team members who help make a difference every day.

Cynthia shares, “I enjoy the people I work with, and the work we do here to help others.”

Today is a moment to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives—family, friends, health, and the connections that ground us. 🍁

It’s an opportunity to share gratitude and extend kindness to those around us.

At the same time, we recognize that while many celebrate Thanksgiving, today also marks the National Day of Mourning.

For many Indigenous communities, this day honors history, resilience, and ongoing contributions. It invites us to hold space for both gratitude and truth, acknowledging the complexity of our shared past. 🌿

May this day inspire us to lead with openness, continue learning, and foster understanding and justice in the communities we serve.

🏳️‍🌈✨ Members of our LGBTQ+ Pathfinders recently attended the Courage Plus Family Decade Gala in Milwaukee! MyPath was proud to be a Safe Spaces Sponsor for this incredible event.

Creating inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive is at the heart of what we do. We’re honored to stand alongside community partners who share that same mission. 💜

This year’s gala raised an astounding $200,455 to support Courage+'s mission of empowering and uplifting LGBTQ+ youth. The room was filled with over 700 guests, radiating love, energy, and community pride. 🌈

We’re still inspired by the message that echoed throughout the night: when we show up together, we remind every young person that they are seen, supported, and celebrated.

🇺🇸 Recently, MyPath’s Salute to Service Pathfinders Employee Resource Group had the privilege of providing a lunchtime meal train for the families staying at the Fisher House Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Thanks to MyPath’s sponsorship, we provided more than 18 lunches and dinners, desserts, and fully restocked the refrigerators for families.

With help from Mission BBQ, the meal included brisket, pulled pork, green beans, mac and cheese, cornbread, and buns.

Our team also had the chance to tour the home, see volunteers prepare a suite for a new family, and spend time getting to know the dedicated staff who make this support possible.

We’re honored to give back to those who give so much. 🇺🇸

Our MyPath team recently had the opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate progress at the Sustainable Business Council Conference.

The event was attended by our Environmental Pathfinder Leaders Cyndi Loehr and Vanessa Gagliano, and Matt Balestrieri, Director of ESG, who also participated as a presenter.

Matt co-presented “Behavior Change at Work: Strategies for Sustainability Engagement” alongside Michelle Miller (Symrise), with David Vigliotta (Slipstream) serving as moderator. During the session, he highlighted MyPath’s idling reduction initiative, sharing how Prader-Willi Homes reduced idling minutes by 42% despite a 9% increase in miles driven — resulting in fuel savings, reduced engine wear, and lower emissions that support healthier air quality.

The conference also brought exciting recognition for MyPath:

🏆 Most Improved Award for a significant year-over-year score increase

October was a month of learning for our team!

Homes for Independent Living, a MyPath Company, hosted its annual Operations Fall Summit—an in-person event that brought together nearly 100 leaders from across our organization.

The goal: to equip regional leadership with the knowledge, insights, and tools to strengthen their effectiveness as proactive, strategic, and compliance-focused leaders.

Highlights included sessions on Workers’ Compensation & ADA Compliance with Meg Waldo, Navigating DHS Standards with Stephanie Brown, and a Leadership Insights panel featuring tenured leaders sharing best practices in risk management.
