February is , a time to pause, reflect, and learn together.

At MyPath, this month is an opportunity to recognize the contributions, resilience, and leadership of Black individuals throughout history while also acknowledging the work that continues today. Progress in diversity, equity, and inclusion matters—but so does honest reflection on where growth is still needed.

For us, this starts internally. Creating a workplace where every employee feels seen, respected, and supported is something we’re committed to—not just during Black History Month, but year-round.

Throughout February, we’ll be sharing moments to learn, reflect, and engage as a team as we honor Black history, celebrate Black voices, and recommit to building a culture rooted in belonging.

🌈 What a night! 🏒

This week, MyPath’s LGBTQ+ Pathfinders attended Pride Night with the Milwaukee Admirals, and it was such a great experience.

We had 21 MyPath employee-owners attend from across Wisconsin — many of whom were at their first-ever Admirals game! The energy was amazing, the turnout was strong, and to top it all off… the Admirals won 😊

Most importantly, it was wonderful to come together as coworkers and community members to show our support for the LGBTQ+ community.

We’re already looking forward to more events like this and continuing to build connection, visibility, and belonging. 💙

With a degree in Psychology, Kamryn discovered her passion for ABA therapy through the joy of helping clients learn and grow.

At mypath, these words reflect who we are and the work we do every day as a human services organization.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is more than a day of remembrance—it’s a call to action. It invites us to reflect on justice, dignity, and compassion, and to live those values through service. In our work, we see firsthand how even small acts of care—listening, encouraging, or advocating—can have a lasting impact on someone’s life.

This year, we invite the MyPath community to honor Dr. King’s legacy in one of two ways:

💛 Serve Your Community
Give your time in ways big or small—volunteer at a local food pantry, mentor a young person, check in on a neighbor, or take part in a community clean-up. Every act of service helps strengthen our communities.

💭 Reflect and Recommit
Take a moment to pause and reflect. Ask yourself: How can I lead with more compassion? How can my work better support dignity, equity, and healing? Use this time to recommit to serving others with empathy and purpose.

As we observe MLK Day, let us remember that change begins with action. Through service, reflection, and intentional care, we carry forward Dr. King’s vision—one person at a time.

Over the holidays, MyPath and our Race & Ethnicity Pathfinders was honored to once again sponsor and attend the Kwanzaa celebration hosted by Paula Davis CBA, PFCI Good Samaritan Project.

Our Director of DEI, Tenecia Waddell-Pyle, shared opening reflections on MyPath, insights around Kwanzaa, and the importance of sustained, intentional community work.

It was a powerful reminder that purpose isn’t just spoken—it’s lived, shared, and strengthened when we come together. 💛
