From the surgeon’s table-straight to the gym. went a little long at the office one day this past week but that didn’t stop him from getting his session in. This guy is MOTIVATED and he is motivating others as well by not letting anything get in his way of getting stronger, leaner, & overall healthier. He is a model client and I’m glad to have the privilege to train him and his amazing wife as well. They are definitely the dynamic Doctor duo of our area 💪😊

‘Live to 100-Secrets of the Blue Zones’ really lays out well how we are to go about living our lives in order to live a long, healthy, happy life. It’s not complicated…but it is different from how we typically live out our lives in our Western culture that many times leads to sickness, multiple medications, not feeling our best.

Took my meal prep to the gym and had a picnic before my workout…Sound nutrition is really where one’s fitness & wellness journey should be centered. Yes, we must move adequately. Yes, we must sleep and rest well. But, what we feed and fuel our bodies with impacts how much we can move, how we feel, how we sleep and recover from life and our workouts so much. There’s no stoppin’ this client! She is focused and her scan shows it…I have been working with her since last Summer and since then she’s down a total of 25 pounds(the vast majority of her weight loss being body fat while maintaining her muscle mass) and her PBF has gone from 35% down to 25%-a 10% reduction and putting her in a much healthier range…And she’s not done yet. She is determined to be leaner, stronger, and healthier by this Summer…This is what consistent hard work in the gym, and even more importantly AWAY from the gym, looks like. Great job ! Super proud of you and the results you’ve achieved in just 7 months 💪😊

A year ago at this time I was preparing to open my new location and…the next thing I know I’m lying on a surgeon’s table making my peace with the good Lord. But, it wasn’t my time to go just yet…A week in the ICU, heart failing, kidneys failing, my heart’s ejection fraction at 15-20. Things were not looking too good. But, I was at peace. I had prepared my soul and my body for such a time as that. And, with the care & prayers of my doctors & nurses, my amazing wife , my 2 daughters, my sister and many others I went home and got back to work…Fast forward to yesterday and my 1 year follow-up with my cardiologist and things are good-my ejection fraction is up to 45, my V02 max index is in the upper 40s, my resting heart is in the 40s, the scar on my right wrist where they went in to my artery to save my life is gone. Was I just lucky? Or was it something else? The decades of training hard 5-6 days a week, eating healthy 95% of the time, supplementing well, trying to rest my mind & body well-it was more about my CHOICES & ACTIONS over many many years…They say everyone has lots of stressors and problems until they lose their health and that is so true. Not much else matters than getting back to being healthy when you are staring death in the face. So I say all of this not to boast but to encourage others to work on themselves as well-to make sure that if and when you might be faced with something like what I went through that you have your soul prepared in case it is your time, but also your body…in case it isn’t😊…Happy ♥️ Day everyone‼️ ❤️

What a fantastic text I got this past week from a client…It was his first time ever running a mile. He has been working his butt off, literally, for over a year now. Putting in the hard work every single week at the gym and at the kitchen table-getting leaner, stronger, and improving his cardiovascular conditioning. I’m SO proud of him and how he has changed the rest of his life for the better by getting healthier the right way. Kudos to you 💪😊

Look at these clients putting in effort & changing their lives for the better! They are making healthy decisions away from the gym. This is how you get results. The training sessions alone are not enough. It takes focus, planning, determination, discipline & ACTION the other 160+ hours they aren’t in session. It’s all about that healthy that 💪😊
