“Postpartum care is a thing.”

That’s what one of our expo attendees said after walking through the 9in|9out Parent + Baby Expo — and it stopped us in our tracks.

She shared that she had no idea so much support existed after birth… and that for the first time, she realized she wasn’t alone.

In the U.S., we often focus heavily on preparing people for pregnancy and birth — but far too often, new parents are left to figure out postpartum recovery, mental health, feeding, sleep, and identity shifts on their own. We are behind when it comes to caring for families in the weeks, months, and years after birth.
