I put this updated photo in black and white because right now I have toasted skin syndrome from heating pads, and it's rather unlovely to look at. Otherwise, everything is healing up nicely. No, this isn't the entirety of the incision but I can't show the bottom without catching a ban. ;)

Magical, absolutely magical

This was my old incision site pre-op, when things heal up significantly more, I'll show you my new incision. Things look a wee bit different now.

"Hospice care focuses on a person's quality of life as they near the end of life. Hospice treats the person and the symptoms of cancer, rather than the cancer itself. A team of health care professionals work together to manage symptoms, distress, and spiritual issues."

I've also learned that you can go on hospice in baby steps as your level of care dictates and come off hospice as well.

At this time in my journey, I've been referred to home hospice, again, at a baby step pace. There's still hope as clinical trials come out, but for now this is where we are.

Thank you all for your continued love and support,

The entire Dosch Family

I'm so grateful as I navigate this cancer journey to have THE BEST oncology team. I have not once been made to feel like a number, or someone's paycheck, but have been treated with care, compassion, and authentic kindness. I will always recommend this amazing cancer center.

Thank you for always being by my side, being my rock, encouraging my ambitions, loving me at my lowest, and most importantly, being a great dad to our boys. Never stop being you.
